SALEM – Yesterday hundreds of Democrats from across Oregon gathered to hold caucus meetings, attend trainings, and to support their candidates for new leadership in the Democratic Party of Oregon. This year saw a 50 percent increase in delegate turnout since the last election, making it one of the most successful reorganization meetings ever.

SALEM – Over the weekend delegates from the Democratic Party of Oregon gathered not only to elect new leadership but to vote on resolutions for the state party. Democrats voted and passed 3 resolutions to support the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, support public ownership of the Elliott State Forest, and to ban or regulate the aerial application of herbicides and pesticides on all public and private lands in Oregon.
